ADR and DGSA basics
Do I need a DGSA?
If your undertaking consigns, carries, packs, loads or unloads dangerous goods, ADR requires you to appoint a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser. A short review with us tells you where you stand.
What is the 1.1.3.6 exemption?
It lets you carry small quantities per transport unit under a 1000-point rule, with most ADR requirements relaxed. Our free calculator works it out for your load.
What is an ADR certificate?
It is the statutory driver certificate (ADR 8.2) proving a driver has passed the official exam for carrying dangerous goods. We do not issue it ourselves — an approved training centre does, after training.
What do tunnel restriction codes mean?
European road tunnels are graded A–E — higher letters restrict more dangerous goods categories. Check any tunnel or UN number against the code before you route a load through it.
What are limited quantities (LQ)?
LQ is a packaging and marking scheme that relaxes most ADR requirements for small, retail-sized packages of dangerous goods. The exemption depends on the specific substance and pack size, not just how small the container looks.
Pricing & getting started
How much does an outsourced DGSA cost?
A €50 monthly subscription plus €10 per consignment, and two one-time registrations, €100 for the company and €20 per platform user. The full price list is on the pricing page.
How quickly can we start?
Work starts within a day. Your certified consultant is confirmed and your compliance baseline reviewed in the first month.
What happens when our company grows?
There is a single subscription, so there is nothing to switch. When your team grows, you register the new employees — €20 each, training included — and the monthly subscription stays the same.
Working with ADRplus
Which countries do you cover?
We advise across Europe, in the language your team works in. More national pages are added as our coverage grows.
What happens if we have an incident?
Your DGSA is reachable directly, helps investigate, prepares the report your authority can request, and agrees corrective action with you — not just a write-up.
