Orange plates

Identification plates per ADR 5.3.2 — blank or with a printed UN number, as self-adhesive stickers.

Products: 14

Signage covers the orange-coloured plates required under ADR 5.3.2. Every transport unit carrying dangerous goods displays two reflectorized orange plates — 40 × 30 cm with a 15 mm black border — one at the front and one at the rear, set vertical and perpendicular to the vehicle’s axis, and clearly visible.

For tanks and goods carried in bulk the plates also show the hazard identification number (the Kemler code) above the UN number. Where the vehicle is too small for the full plate, ADR allows a reduced size down to 300 × 120 mm. Plates must be weather-resistant and stay fixed through 15 minutes of fire engulfment.

This category holds numbered and blank orange plates and Kemler panels as self-adhesive stickers. ADR accepts a self-adhesive sheet instead of a plate on tank-containers, MEGCs, portable tanks and containers carrying dangerous solid substances in bulk (5.3.2.2.1), not on a vehicle.

You do not have to wait for a stocked plate with your UN number — the configurator prints any of the 2,000+ numbers of Table A with a live preview before payment.
