Georgia is a formal ADR contracting party since 2016. The lead national authority for dangerous goods (ADR) matters is საქართველოს ეკონომიკისა და მდგრადი განვითარების სამინისტრო. A DGSA must be appointed under ADR 1.8.3.

Georgian; for international transport, accompanying documents must also be in the language of the country of origin, and additionally in the language of transit/destination countries if different (per the Rules for Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Motor Transport, Joint Order No. 45/268 of 6 August 2003).

DGSA exam

Not separately identified in public sources. The Land Transport Agency (lta.gov.ge) is the IRU Academy-accredited qualification centre for CPC Driver and CPC Manager courses. No distinct DGSA exam body has been confirmed for Georgia; DGSA certification arrangements under ADR implementation are still being developed following accession (Government Decree No. 177, 2017).
