Greece is a formal ADR contracting party since 1988. The lead national authority for dangerous goods (ADR) matters is Υπουργείο Υποδομών και Μεταφορών – Διεύθυνση Οδικών Εμπορευματικών Μεταφορών (Δ31). A DGSA must be appointed under ADR 1.8.3.

DGSA exam

Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (Υπουργείο Υποδομών και Μεταφορών), Directorate of Road Freight Transport (Δ31), which approves and oversees the examination body; exams are conducted by an approved University Laboratory (ΑΕΙ) specialising in Chemical Engineering or transport-related sciences; ΕΕΑΕ (Greek Atomic Energy Commission) conducts Class 7 DGSA exams.
